What I wouldn't give to be nearer you! It is my life's ambition to ride a heavy horse, been obsessed with them since visiting a Shire horse centre when I was a small child :)
I currently ride a friend's horse at the weekend, he is a Cob x Shire so unfortunately not a "true" heavy!

I live nearby but am absolutely terrified of horse and would die on the spot if I seen yours!!lol. Have you tried advertising? I have local stables and they have adverts galore for people WANTING to share but not having the horse. Might be worth something like that?

Rafferty I have visions of you sitting chanting last night.."wish you lived in N. Yorkshire" over and over till it came true (or not!) :-D
haha Chaumsong, maybe it was my subconscious kicking in. More interesting than 'ohm' anyway ;-)

its ok rafferty, infact i have been looking to move to north yorkshire
hurry up then groveclydpoint, can I do any preliminary househunting for you or be of any other assistance?! ;-) Actually my back has been gipping me this year, slipped disc in the spring and could be next year before I'm fit enough to ride again - and even then I might need a crane to winch me on and off! (worst bit - usually OK once I'm on).
I'm into horseracing btw, have my own v. friendly & profitable forum if anyone interested in joining - www.groupracers.co.uk
