Has anyone read The Story of Edgar Sawtelle, by David Wroblewski?

Just started it - it has dogs in it.

thats out for me then!im such a wuss,as something bad seems to happen to the dogs in the books ive read, with them in,then i wake up in the night thinking about it and getting upset-and its no good telling myself its only a story, because then i tell myself, yes, but it probably has happened somewhere!I bet ive missed out on many a good book!

I've a feeling this one may be different. I'm only a few chapters in, and it's a long book, but the dogs feature in a positive manner right from the start, and some is written from a particular dog's point of view.
More about it here: http://www.davidwroblewski.com/reviews.html
So far I am really enjoying it!
