Just wondered if anyone has tried this and had an opinion... The ingredients look good, with Salmon as the first, at over 35%. I usually use the original Autarky but I am finding a lot of undigested corn (I think!) in the output!

I feed this to my springer - she is doing really well on it and she loves it. I used to use fish4dogs but this works out a lot lot cheaper with just as good results.

WOW!! I have just taken delivery of a fish4dogs order, but googled the Autarky when I read your post. Titmuss is free delivery and half the price!
Thanks for posting (know what I will try next!)

I use the Autarky but cannot get the Salmon from the warehouse I go to. Googled it and got up Berriewoods who have an offer at the moment of £16.99 and free delivery on two bags. Ordered it yesterday and it has come today.

Please let us know the results for those that try it :)

I can't find Autarky for £16.99 on the Berriewoods site?
Who actually makes Autarky? I know CSJ distribute it and it appears on the Dodson and Horrell site, are D and H manufacturers? Just wondering as would like to try but via sample rather than big bag to start with.
Quite keen on the price and ingredients look good, better than the chicken and rice, and would like to alternate with their AG lamb and rice ... ways to reduce costs is always welcome.
Can anyone comment on the quality of 'poos' produced? An important factor :)

Dodsen & Horrelll purchased teh brand from the original peopel that made it.
Makes sense as the additonal herbs in it they have available because they make the various mixtures for horses etc.
Thank you :) Is Autarky what you use alongside AG? Couldn't remember whether you mentioned Autarky or Vitalin in the past.

Thank you very much for the links. I would be interested in the Salmon and Rice (I have a Batleys card but this is still cheaper than the Skinners Salmon and Rice and is a better composition) but not the Chicken as Maize is the main ingredient in that one. Thanks again, off to order now lol.

Yep found the Autarky herbs helped with one fo my veterans sometimes getting indigestion and throwing up yellow bile.

I have just ordered a bag of Autarky Salmon from berriewoods as it looks quite good.
I use skinners salmon as a rule but will give this a try.

Just had excellent service off Berriewoods - even down to an email an hour before delivery informing me of my one hour time slot. The salmon variety does smell quite herby, which you'd expect from the ingredients, but apart one from dog who took a little while to eat it, it has gone down well with my gang of 10. Hopefully the herbs will do some good as well lol.

Yes I agree excellent service from berriewoods.
I bought one 15kg bag of salmon autarky and free delivery....excellent value for a good kibble.

I agree, brilliant service. Have never used them before but would feel confident using them again.

Changed my Corgi boy over to this about three weeks ago. I was never particularly impressed with the chicken recipe but I like the high salmon content in this new formulation.
Rex had been on AG chicken for some time but he is doing very well on the Autarky; his coat condition is still lovely and his stomach is actually less loose (although it is probably dodgy because I over-feed the skinny beast!). Also, because it has a lot of herbs, fruit and veg in it, it doesn't reek of fish.

many thanks for all the feedback :)
