I've seen a lot of suggestions that James Welbeloved is the same as Wainrights from PAH.
Does any one know if it's exactly the same or just similar?

Because they have different flavour varieties they can only be similar at best.
Pets At Home will probably claim it is the same. I would imagine James Wellbeloved would disagree.....
I was lead to believe by a food rep wainwrights is actually made by pah themselves which would explain why they love pushing it at people.
I have a lot of clients who's dogs have behaviour issues on wainwrights and local vets are looking into foods at the mo and find same as me regards behaviour and wainwrights. Royal canin are another that seem to cause issues as well as bakers and butchers, got no tech to support it just what I find dealing with dogs.
I'm surprised about the comment re Butchers, its actually something I'm more than happy to feed when I need tinned.
Happyhoundgirl - have you got any links to show support of this? Would be interested to read further. Quite understand re Bakers as full of chemicals and is well documented to be linked to behavioural issues.

My Girls have had Wainwrights salmon and potato kibble for over 4yrs and had no efects from this food as they have done on other foods tried in the past.
JWB is very similar ingredients but does not agree with my girls.
So its what suits your dogs best at the end of the day.
Wainrights is a P at H brand. Out of interest I had a look at the ingredients and can't see any there that would cause me to think they may prompt behavioural issues, unless I'm missing something. Can you enlighten?
