Topic Dog Boards / Health / My girl has another lump this time on her vulva... Anyone?
- By JaneBUK [gb] Date 07.09.11 15:17 UTC
Hi
My 2 yr old RR girl has had 2 hystiocytomas and one pilomatricoma as well as countless other strange skin things and finally diagnosed as hypothyroid 4 mths ago, much better on the Soloxine etc

But now she has a red hard smooth lump on her vulva, it has grown suddenly and is growing quite fast, I spoke to the vet and they said lumps in that area need to be seen promptly and they would probably need to remove it rather than take a sample.

It seems like a neverending lot of things for this sweet girl.  Has anyone any experiences of lumps etc removed from their girl's vulva?

\TIA

I've had a bitch with lumps on their vulva's but they just went on their own. I always put them down to them having sat on a bramble thorn or something like that and the lump was infection.
Best to go with your vet I suppose if you trust his judgment.
