Has anyone tried Harrington's dog food and if so would they recommend it? I've heard off a few people that its a good quality, can be bought in supermarkets and doesn't cost the earth.

I have used it in the past, my dogs liked it and seemed to do well on it, you can buy it in Tesco and Asda but only in small sized bags which is a pain if you have lots or big dogs, it is not rediculously expensive plus you can buy it on-line from Harringtons and lots of other places to.

My sister fed her elderly GSD on Harringtons on for the last year or so of her life; although the dog had been few raw most of her life, in old age she had trouble digesting raw and Harringtons was the only dry food that suited her.

I fed my Vizsla on the Harringtons puppy complete when she was a little un... she would not eat anything else and seemed to do really well on it. The pieces are really tiny which suited her I think.
I have also bought the odd bag for our JRT pup and agin she seems to enjoy it.

I get it occasionally to give as treats when training my dogs the Spanish seem to really like it and never had any problems with their stomachs though rarely ever do.

I feed mine on it and they do really well. In fact I switched my pup from JW to Harrington's puppy as he was quite loose on JW and he firmed up very quickly. They all love it and for the price I think it is good......even better now that Asda does a 15kg bag of the lamb and rice, the one they prefer.
I did write to them whilst feeding the pup on the puppy food as it does only come in 2kg bags which when feeding a young Flattie lasts no time and it is in the pipeline to produce a bigger bag of puppy food at some point.
I still add 'extras' such as sardines and raw eggs a few times a week but overall I really think they do well on it.
