Hello all,

We're at Birmingham champ show tomorrow, and I've never been to Stoneleigh before.  I hear bad things about the traffic going into Stoneleigh, what are everyones' experiences of this?  Would you allow for more time than normal to get to this venue?

I've not been to a large show there, but the approach road is narrow, so with the volume of traffic I'd expect there to be delays getting in; I'd definitely allow plenty of time.

Get there early...no problems.
I went on Friday and sailed in at 8.30 am......but then I was in Minor puppy bitch.

Thank you both, I'll allow for a bit longer just in case.  We'll be aiming to get there early, Eddie's in Junior but we've had quite small entries for puppy classes recently so may be in earlier than normal.

I was there yesterday sailed in at 10:30, as my breed started at 10 & I wasnt in until MP Bitch.

I arrived at 10.30am - absolutely no traffic. I left at 3.30 pm, again, absolutely no traffic!

Just realised that it would seem strange to rush in for Minor puppy BITCH ...but we nearly always have two rings and both sexes start together first thing.

Coming from the North West, been to this venue lots of times and never had a problem but I do like to get to shows an hour before judging starts.
