Yes, give to your OH if you like, sausage has a preservative and as since cooking they have been in the fridge they will be fine. Dogs guts are far more tolerant than ours and I would be happy to use them in a salad for myself.

You could always cut them up and freeze them in handy sized portions, just take out a bag before training and they will thaw quickly, or dogs don't mind them frozen.
Thank you both for your replies I could kick myself .......for all the sauseage I have thrown away in the past roll eyes big tut
Just bought some sausage in Brine would like to cut this up ready for when we train .....do you know if I can freeze this too
Thanks Annie

If you mean hotdog sausages, then yes, you can. The vacuum packed ones are a bit firmer in texture, you can sometimes find cheap 'value' brands.

99p in Lidl's for 10
Thanks again At least I don't have to cook the sausage any more
I use the big bags of frozen sausages from Morrisons for my lot. They are Morrisons own brand and come in a yellow and white bag and I think are about £1.00 for 20.
cooked a roast on sunday and binned it last night as OH said it would be too rich for the dogs!!
Why would meat be too rich?
Mine would take your arm off for a lump of Sunday roast - raw or cooked lol
No idea but he binned it rather than upset Jake's tummy!!
