Just wondering...

What do you all keep in your dog first aid box?

a) At home
b) In the car
c) Out walking

c) Nothing if I'm walking directly from home.
b) Whilst travelling with the dog (holidays, walking, showing) but not every single journey:  dilute spray Hibiscrub, Piriton, Ultrasalve, Arnica, ear cleaner, Dermacton for my itchy dog, scissors, cotton wool pads. Some of this is always in my 'dog bag' including a few Salmon Mousse pouches for emergency hunger (!) or dodgy tummies :)
a) All of the above plus Metacam, Fuciderm, thermometer, bandages, garlic juice, aloe vera gel, colloidal silver and leftovers - til I have a clear out

I have boys only - show, don't breed - so I expect that makes a difference to contents of my dog cupboard!!

Golly - I don't have one :) Of course, I have a human first aid box, but nothing specifically for the dogs :) Don't keep any medicines in the house for humans apart from a few paracetamol and antihistamines, so never considered keeping any in for the dogs.

I'm the exact opposite - if us humans need anything we have to raid the dog first aid bag. But it is mostly hibiscrub, non adhesive pads, and tesco's own cohesive bandage.

I have a first aid cupboard in the kitchen, and if we are out and about I will raid from there and put some bits in my hand bag (If I am out for a walk its no good stuck in our van,it needs to be with me)I make sure I carry anti histamines, pressure dressing and bandage.Enough to tide me home/vets.At home I have an array of bandages (can double up as a muzzle in an emergency),tape, dressings, homopathic remedies - arneca, echinaciea, comfrey.Tick remover, collodial silver, fuciderm, antieseptic, hibiscrub, betadine, normal saline sachets.Scissors, tweezers, space blanket. Some human/dog items just double up.
