just had my boys renewal though and its jumped over 40 pounds a month to almost 100 per month, does anyone know of a company that will insurure a dog for the first time over the age of 8 ( some do not ), am looking for life time cover with about 7,000 per condishion.

I know how you feel - a number of people suggested companies for me to try in this thread.

I went with the company Chaumsong suggested but my dog is only 7 years old, might be worth trying some of the other suggestions though.

Hi
I just moved my girl to Vetmedicover but they wouldn't do the older girl who is just 8. :(
I would be interested to see how you get on. I've only recently been enlightened about lifetime cover and fear I have left it too late to change.

Have decided not to renew insurance this year, as I have realised that over the years I have paid out far more in insurance cover than I have paid vet fees.
It may be a good idea to set up a savings account and pay in each month the money you would pay to an insurance company.
