Topic Dog Boards / Breeding / Puppystim?

Has anyone used this?  http://www.hyperdrug.co.uk/PuppyStim-15ml-syringe/productinfo/PUPPYSTIM/

I'm putting together my 'basket' at hyperdrug, preparing for whelping in about 4 weeks.  I've got Welpi (I looked at NutroLac which was recommended but it has Wheat Gluten as a main ingredient and I tend to stay away from Gluten in dog foods), Dopram V, and last time we were recommended to buy Colostrum.  When looking up Colostrum on the site I came across this Puppystim which seemed to be quite a reasonable alternative.

Has anyone used it?  Would you recommend it instead of buying straight colostrum?

Thanks in advance.

edit to add I just found what I bought last time http://www.chemistdirect.co.uk/puppy-life-line-pack-colostrum-and-nutridrops_1_20648.html

My friend used puppystim when mum refused to feed pups. it seems great and they are strong healthy pups...

I haven't (thankfully) used it but a friend who had lost one pup and was on the way to losing another was given it by my Vet. The pup had an infection at the back of her throat and would not feed. The Puppystim together with syringe feeding has produced a bouncy, healthy near 1 year old.

I buy the combination pack as the vet drops can be used to boost the dams energy during labour as well as the pups if needs be after birth if the milk is slow coming in.

Thanks.  If I go for the puppystim I would still buy the nutridrops.
