Not sure if this should go in breeding or health?

Anyway my 4 year old boxer's bulbus glands are swollen at the moment, I noticed it last week so took him out for a walk to see if he needed to toilet which he did and the swelling went away.
I noticed last night they were swollen, not as much as last week but they are a little swollen.

He has started acting like a puppy at the moment, being all excitable & silly and has been playing alot with my younger dog.
I just wanted to check with others that his playfulness is likely to be cause of him swelling up?

Thanks Louise, I had to give them a bath at 6.30am this morning(he hates baths) we went for our usual 5.30am walk through the woods and the little b*ggers dived into the smelly swap........so when I bathed him I check how he was down there........no swelling & very soft mr johnson, not excited anymore lol

Just a thought but when we had those symptoms with a 4 year old male, it turned out to be connected to a benign enlargement of his prostate. He was in obvious discomfort though.

Hope your boy is OK, looks like you are keeping your eye on him.

Thanks Esme, I've been keeping an eye on him & will continue to do so, more so when he's relaxed I'm checking that he's also relaxed down there and not swollen/hard.
