hi silly question can i wear skirt to show gun dog the skirt is just on my knee ,just thinking of this hot weather keeps up i would rather stay cool in ring than be too warm this trousers and jacket on

Some of the top handlers in pointers wear skirts so yes it's fine to wear one.

Mind you I have no decorum,as a couple of my suits have no pockets - so invariablly bait and poo bags end up discreetly in my bra.!!!!

Don't show that much these days but I always wear a long skirt whether showing, stewarding or judging.

Just make sure that it feels ok when you are standing your dog and make sure how high the split goes if you need to bend over LOL!

theirs so slit in skirt,it feels ok mind u i am tom boy so not used to wearing skirt etc so it will be off after iv shown,bras are good for sticking things in ,my husband got me bum bag thing so i can but dog treats in mind u theirs few pockets in it so one for dog treats,one for horse treats and mobile fone

If you're not used to skirts why not wear trousers then?

I can't remember the link, but Dog Show Fashion Police, candid photos of what NOT to wear when showing dogs, is just brilliant! Some are just bizarre, others funny, and even more show the hazards and pitfalls of "Clothing Fail" at a dog show.... LOL

Skirt suits with no pockets I guess - don't forget I am sleep deprived at the moment due to furry visitors so my mind does wonder!!
