We were supposed to go to our first Bronze class today but I got the times mixed up and we turned up at the Silver class instead. I thought the dogs looked alot older than Tilly when were waiting to go in. The trainer was really nice and let us stay and gave us the Bronze equivalent exercises where she could but we still did some of the Silver ones. I was very proud of her as she managed to do most of them - she managed 55 seconds on the stay and only moved because two of the dogs started barking and she got a bit nervous so came to me to hide!

So I am proud of my girl and looking forward to the next Bronze class - I will make sure I have the right time this time!

Good Tilly! :)
I've noticed quite a few clubs teach a level above - at least where I used to live - i.e. the Puppy Foundation class would actually be bronze level including the requirements for Puppy Foundation, and then a different club did Bronze and Silver in the same class. One club did the Puppy Foundation final assessment and the bronze test afterwards on the same night. Another did Bronze tests followed by Silver test straight after for any dogs which were ready. My own lad did his bronze and Silver tests one after the other on the same night, and passed both!

TBH I personally don't see the rush, I would rather they took longer between tests as a dogs' temperament can change a lot in its first year.  Mine may have got Puppy, Bronze & Silver before 12mths of age, but as the hormones took hold he regressed a lot and at now, 5 years old would struggle to pass Bronze in a class situation.

But if a club has to get an examiner in, it makes sense for candidates who can to take two tests on the same night, it is the best use of resources.

As for teaching again it depends on the number of people and the structure.

In any event I do not think if the classes are structured correctly that you need to have special ones, you should be training for MORE than is required in the test so that you are confident your dog will pass the lower one.
