hi ive been reading recently about colour genetics of poodles and its states a poodle that is cream shouldnt have a brown nose this is a fault,
her mum is cream with a black nose and dad is light apricot with brown nose,
what happens in regards to breeding her with a brown what colour pups is it possible she will have if his parents are brown and apricot,

as far as i know (but im sure someone who knows more will come along) the nose pigment is controlled by the B alleles.
so a brown nose would be bb
black would be Bb or BB as black is domanant.

so your girl should be Bb so she has black pigment but carrys brown, so if you put her to a male with brown pigment (bb) there is as 50% chance of any pup being either black pigment (Bb) or brown pigment (bb). put her to another black brown carrier (Bb) like her there will be 25% chance any pup being brown pigment (bb) 25% chance of any pup being black pigment (BB) and 50% chance of getting black pigment like your girl (Bb), put ther to a black carrying no brown (BB) and you will get 50% chance of any pup being black pigment (BB) or black pigment carrying brown (Bb).

As for coat colours i dont know enought about poodel colours.

Basically if you want to avoid producing Cream pups with unacceptable brown pigmentation avoid mating her to a dog that carries brown pigment.

She herself may well carry brown pigment inherited from her sire, so by avoiding using a dog that also carries brown pigment should avoid producing pups with it, though some will still carry ti if she does.
