has anyone tried the allerclear nasal spray for allergies? I bought some and only got the nerve to try it this evening as I was suffering really badly even benadryl didn't work.....seems to have worked....I am so far after one squirt up each nostril quite impressed....cleared me up but I still have the niggling in my nose its no where near as bad..

Cheers

might suggest that to my son,hes suffered badly since the age of 6,2 years ago he discovered benadryl spray worked loads better than piriton tablets, maybe allerclear will be even better.i always thought it such a cruel problem to have, everyone else(it seems)on the planet, out and enjoying the nice weather,he,either miserable,or inside!

Has anyone told you to try honey? No, not as a nasal spray ;-) I suffer from hayfever badly every year, or did, until I was told to take a teaspoon of local honey every day, starting a few weeks before the pollen season starts. I couldn't believe the difference it made. I have anti histamine tablets in the house, but rarely have to use them. The first time I used it was well into the hay fever season, so it took about a week to take effect properly, but it does work, honest :-D

Honey is great - the trouble might be in finding a local source but a farmers market might be a good place to start.  Alternatively have a look at Beedata, I've just found two producers less than 5 miles away from me!

My local producer only lives about a mile away, but he is not on that website ;-) Maybe because he doesn't produce a lot, and only sells to the local health store. Good idea though, being able to search for local producers.
