not very tecy minded so can any one help me please
I have a hd ready tv with freeview built in
what do I need to do to get hd. do I have to purchase
a freeview hd top box even though I already have freeview.
or is there some other way of getting  hd
any advice appreciated

You will need to upgrade to a HD freeview box to receive the HD transmissions, so your TV is able to play HD but only with a HD unit attached like a new top box, DVD player or game console like a PS3.

i have a tv with built in freeview hd,i was told you dont need to upgrade or buy anything.
First,check on the freeview hd website that you actually have it in your area,then run a scan,mine are on 51,52,53,54,
i found the pic alot better,especially the football,i can actually read the numbers on the shirt and its soo much clear,the pic is alot sharper and brighter and i have no extra boxes etc and a normal areial lead to a normal ariel
