I think it's typical RSPCA wish wash and flannel.

I think the only answer is lobbying for internet sites not to be allowed to sell live animals - period. Gumtree and other sites like it are the bad breeders dream. They don't even have to fork out money to advertise their poorly bred pups, along with pet shops.

So for me, I think legislation should be made for these organisations to take down their pet sections. You can offer all the education in the world and it makes not a jot of difference to some people, even people I would have considered dog savvy I have known to buy from pet shops. The answer is to remove the opportunity to buy this way - simples.
