that it is included in the price so say something is £40.00 incl VAT does the incl mean vat is included in theprice or does that incl mean you have to included vat after the price sorry for sounding thick not sure at all what it means

If a price is '£40 incl VAT' it means that the total price is £40. Otherwise it would say '£40 plus VAT'.
