Hi i will be having 3 of my cc eye tested soon,(BVA) i have never had a dog tested before and was wondering if you get told results on the day or how long does it take to find out the results.

they tell you straight away dont forget to take your reg certs with you

or tattooed, doesn't HAVE to be microchipped, just permanently Id'd

Thanks Brainless, i wasn't 100% sure iff Tattoo was allowed as a friend had a GSD hip scored and was told tattoo was not acceptable and it had to be microchipped ???

That is incorrect, many vets receptionists believe this to be so (most of them are unaware of the NDTR), but it isn't.

My friend had to argue the toss with one of hers, and they double checked and found her to be right.

Thanks for clearing that up :) mine are chipped, i would consider tattooing in the future though you just cant be too careful can you. if they ever went missing i'd want every possible way of identifying them as mine :)

Yes mine have two permanent forms of ID and always wear their collars and tags, making it 3, also have on their tags they are tattooed and chipped, extra anti theft deterrent..
