Hi everyone, I am new to the forum but am hoping someone with some more experience maybe able to offer some help.

I have a medium gundog breed who whelped 10 pups, all good strong, putting on similar amount of weight, have doubled and more since birth and are now 18 days old.  Because of numbers I have started them on some mushed up Natures diet with welpi along with mums milk.  9 are doing very well on this but 1 has had the runs since Tuesday.  I did take him to the vet who said sometimes when you start weaning this happens, she recommended not worming until today, so I wormed this morning.  However he has lost 1.5ozs now since this started and I am getting worried, he is still suckling really well, not dehydrated, active like the others etc.  without wanting to put anyone off their breakfast it is a liquid consistency which is bright yellow.

Should I be worried and take him back to the vets or leave it?  I have noticed some worms so I wondered if it could be that?  the bitch was wormed from day 40 of being pregnant and I have done her with panacur this morning aswell as the pups.

Any advice of someone more experienced would be great.

Get some Live  Bio-yogurt about a tablespoonful per meal for the squitty pup (I give it when I worm pups anyway).
