Can anyone let me know what the showground is like at the mo? i.e do I need to take wellies and waterproofs??

It was lovely and dry, firm and pleasant yesterday. Windy and cold but no problems.

Some light rain/showers are predicted for today and overnight, not sure if that will make any difference?

Even after the rain today - torrential and gusty showers at times - the ground remained firm.  We were the second breed in the ring (day 2) and you wouldn't have known (apart for the odd 'found' treat from previous classes!)

Walkways were laid in high traffic areas but they weren't needed.  The most obviously muddy areas were small stretches of much used track in the car park

Probably wandering about we were at the big ring for stakes after the breed finished.

Didn't leave until after BIS as my friends new imported puppy was in the puppy group, and was shortlisted, so we both had a good day.

Oh how lovely, I was on a high all week after getting my first cc at skc but was bought back to earth at bath lol, got to be in it to win it though eh :-)

I felt a tad guilty as my friends bitch got the RCC behind my Lexi, and she needs her third.

How funny we had the exact same senario with my two friends bitches but you have a quality bitch and I'm sure they would be as chuffed for you as themselves.
