Does anybody know if there is a special form required for a outdoor open show, or you can use any risk assessment form?

We just use standard risk assesment forms and tailor them to our specific needs for our outdoor show within an Agricultural Show

I am a H & S professional, you can do a risk assessment on the back of a fag packet..............

I did not use a form but just wrote my own following a site visit, you know your requirements so you visit and check to see if they are possible at that venue and what sort of system the venue already has and if you can tap into it.

Interesting to see a fellow H & S person on here. Usually we're as popular as a f*rt in a lift aren't we :)

Think H&S are like the EU and the government they are blamed but in most cases it is the idiots who interpret the law or advice who are to blame for the excesses, particularly it would seem local councils.

My husband is a H&S manager and does not tend to advertise the fact unless he wants to upset someone lol

yes there are loads you can cannibalise.

I too am a H&S person well I was until I became a stay at home mum a year ago. Yes we tend to try and keep it quiet as we are not liked due to bad media.

You can do risk assessments in any format you like but the simpler the better as long as you cover the main points.
