Topic Dog Boards / Health / soft stools....
- By diamond01 [gb] Date 24.05.11 21:20 UTC
Hi, we have a young dog that has constant soft stools. She is not needing to go more often but when she does go they are always soft. Our other dog is fed exactly the same and her stools are hard.

They are both fed on Arden Grange lamb and rice, when we first put them on this food we did not have this problem for quite some time. She is not being fed anything else other then the Arden Grange so i can rule out any other food being the problem, and has no access to any other foods so i know she has not been eating things she shouldn't of. Could there be another issue, I have made an appointment to with the vet but just wondered if anyone else had any advice?

Thank you in advance

Maybe she has developed an intolerance to lamb or rice, or infact one of the other ingredients in the AG lamb and rice. Perhaps you could try a fish and potato based food and see if the problem still occurs. Have a look at some of the different AG foods available.
