Have spent a week at this cottage www.angleseyholidaycottage.co.uk
Ideal if you have dogs-we took 4.
Dogs allowed to roam around the grounds of the property-people who own cottage live next door-they are very friendly and will look after your dogs if you want to go out for a day minus your dogs.
The 300 yard walk to beach is down the owners own drive-only they use as a dead end.
The drive is covered in sharp stones so my little ones were on tip toe !!
Great walks at back of house in to the woods-you can do a circuit and end up on the beach-take your dog leads as you have to go down a couple of private quiet roads.
House got dog towels/blankets-all they ask is that you do not allow dogs on beds of sofa/chairs in the lounge-you can section lounge off with a baby gate and they then can have the dining room/kitchen and a small inner room. ( take your own baby gate)
We have in the past been put off by owners next door to cottages we have rented-but not this time-we were all relaxed.
Excellent, we've been looking for a suitable place on Anglesey for a long time as love visiting there with our 4. Will be sure to see if we can book here.
I e mailed but it seems it depends on the size of your dog. it was a firm no to me.

What dog do you have Tilly? I was fancying the look of that cottage but one of mine is quite big
giant breed. Luckily we do have a place we rent in Anglesea but we fancied trying somewhere else for a change.
Whilst i have been looking i have found that the further south you look the more dog friendly they are.

I went to a cottage near whitby last year and found the whole area to be super dog friendly, we even went to a theme park were we could take the dogs with us (not on the rides though obviously, lol). I've seen a gorgeous converted watermill down Devon that I really want to try out and it takes lots of dogs which is good, I always think its a cheat when I see a cottage that says its pet friendly but when you look it says 1 small dog only.
do you have the details of the Whitby place please? could you pm them? its somwhere we were considering.

Oh did not know for sale-must have gone on the market week of 7th May. We went week of 30th April
I daresay they still want to take bookings as it is there income.
Could take them years to sell.
When we booked they never asked us what size the dogs were.
Maybe all that has changed then.
We took three small dogs and a Lab/Ret and that was two weeks ago.
