I have a puppy who has puppy strangles, he will once better make a full recovery and lead a normal life. I had a lady who phoned up and I expained what was wrong with him and she was quite happy to take him at a reduced price. How ever the next day she phoned and said her husband wasent happy about her having the pup, I cant help but feel that it was because she has expected the pup for free. I gave her £300 off the asking price he only has another two weeks of treament and then he will be fine .Do you think this is fair or would you give the pup away bearing in mind that I have payed out for his treament and he did have one jab before he fell ill so was un-able to complete the course so will have to start again  once better .

Not the kind of home you want him to go to anyway, if thats how they think. Get him better and find him a home. I wouldnt sell him reduced as he isnt any less quality to your other pups, just make sure they or you before you sell him socialise him as much as poss as he will have already missed his crucial period with being poorly and having to start his vaccs again

I did have the intentions of doing this . However she works at my vets and said she would like him so was going to let him go . By saying she wanted him maybe she ment have him as in for free? . But I am now going to wait and find him a home when he is fully vaccinated. I have a carry bag which I take him out in to get him at least meeting people .He is 15 weeks now.
