With the recent topic of worming, it seems as though different breeds react differently to different kind of wormers. What wormers do the GSD owners of the forum use?

Thanks,
Josh

I think most of the issues mentioned have been with using wormer in pregnancy and on baby/unweaned puppies.

When you get your pup he/she will/should have been wormed several times so you can ask/be told what the breeder has used, and if there have been no issues then it would be fine to use whichever of the good wormers they did.

You may find your Vet prescribes one in particular for use in puppies, so might be worth asking before hand so you know which your likely to be offered, and then you can run ti past the pups breeder.

Thank you, I did assume it was just with puppies but wanted to be 100% sure.

I use Milbemax for my GSD. He's never had any adverse effects with it :)

My Shepherds have Drontal plus with no ill effects.
