It is the responsibility of any society in this position to PHONE EVERY exhibitor, judge & steward. As a steward, I have not as yet been contacted and shall be FURIOUS if they don't contact me. When I cancelled our club's open show in December, due to the weather, the sec and I phoned every exhibitor to let them know. Southampton CS cancelled their show 2 years ago and just put an announcement on various internet sites. That is not good enough. Not everyone checks the damn computer before a show. I was not the only one to travel all that distance to find no show. Appalling bad manners and lack of courtesy.

I've cross posted for my breed, don't think anyone will be going as it's our AGM.

I would expect the Society to be ringing everyone as well.
