Hi there,
I just need a bit of clarification on something, im still new to this showing malarky and somethings still confuse me...
Sat you enter your dog into Post Grad and Limit at a champ or open show... If they win the class can you withdraw from the 2nd class so you can still compete for BOB etc?
thanks

No, you can't withdraw from a breed class to remain unbeaten.
No you have to go in all the BREED classes that you have entered.
Happened in our breed on Friday, person entered two classes, won one and went to Secretary's office to ask to withdraw from Good Citizen class, someone told her she could, we said she couldn't, she got beaten in the GC class by the eventual BOB winner!

You can only withdraw from a variety class if it is after your breed class.

There's little point of withdrawing from anything if you are ultimately going to be judged by the same judge. He/she will either have your dog pegged for BOB or not.

Ditto to tooolz -it makes no difference anyway. If you are going to be beaten you will whether it is in a class or the challenge. Plus of course the judge can call back a second place dog in any class for reserve.
thanks so much your all so helpful!
Does this apply to stakes classes to?
