I'm in the process of making a video about Irish Water Spaniels and I would like to hear from anyone with any old artifacts/film/stories etc. on IWS's.
Also do you know anyone with a Black IWS ? I could film.

Do IWS come in black? I thought they were all supposed to be liver coloured, at least that's what the UK breed standard says. I've never seen a black one anyway :-)

I thought the same,however,according to the book "A bundle of rags in a cyclone" by Nick Waters, which is the "Bible" on IWS's there is a Black version which was mainly bred in the Edinbrough region.
So I'm hoping someone can throw some light on them.
