Hi there, we have some very experienced Westie folk on this board who will no doubt be able to offer you loys of helpful advice. You can start showing a puppy at shows, the day they are six months old. Ring training classes are different. Pups can attend these as soon as they have had their innoculations done. Hope this helps a bit.

Hi Bliss, welcome to the board, if you e mail me, I can give you some advice, and if your friend shows I will probably know him/her, don't buy a puppy on an impulse, please wait for a suitable litter being born. Hope to hear from you soon. Irene-Westyholm Westies. I know of several litters due to being born in different parts of the country, both from show homes.
