My toy bitch is at 33 days and just starting to show and every time she peeees the is always mucous left hanging. Now I have seen this with other dogs but only the last couple of days before they were ready to whelp. Anyone have any input on this or every experienced this at this stage?

i cant really remember but i think a white discharge was one of the first signs when my girl was pregnant its ok as long as its not blood stained. they do get more just before whelping when i think its like clear jelly

There is no blood at all, thankfully. Just like clear mucous. But as I said most of the time with my other dogs it never happened till about a week before they whelped so thats why I was a little concerned. Every dog is different and with this being her first litter and all it had me a little worried, so thanks for your reply :0)
