Topic Dog Boards / General / Holiday accomation with several dogs welcome?

Does anybody know of any holiday cottages that will accept several dogs? I feel the need for a break but want to meet up with friends and take all our dogs (possibly 10 altogether!!!!) Hopefully in the South somewhere? Went to a fab place near Frome last year but it has been let as a long term let this year :-(.
Thanks!

Try this site, lots of choice and many with multiple dogs allowed.

I know a place near Clevedon where the dogs aren't allowed in the cottages but can be housed in an adjacent stable (or you can take up to 4 horses) and they have paddocks for exercise.

The Ox House - see their village website

We're currently sitting in a lovely holiday cottage near Falmouth, Cornwall, which accepts 3 dogs, but when I asked did agree that I could take 4 small ones (though I lost one before the holiday so didn't need it in the end). I don't think the garden would have been dogproof for an escape artist or determined digger / jumper, but it's fine (under loose supervision) for my lazy trio of small spaniels. Downstairs is open plan so we have to crate them when we eat or we'd have them sitting at the table with us, haha! There is another cottage across the road which is the same company so presumably would also take 3 or 4 dogs. If you sweet talked them into 5 at each cottage you could just about squeeze in!

Little Dumpledale in Pembrokeshire Wales accept multiple dogs - lovely house, seperate unit where you could shut the dogs and lovely owners.  However they get booked up a long time in advance

Rather than a cottage, The Old Oaks touring park in Glastonbury has its own cabins (as well as pitches for tens & caravans etc) and welcomes up to 4 dogs per pitch - I walked through there yesterday (a public footpath runs through) and it's amazing, there's a securely fenced dog exercise area and a purpose-built dog wash room!

I just had a look at that site - which looks very nice - but you can't have dogs in the cabins :-(

There is a lovely house on Anglesey-Rhosneigr-sleeps up to 10-set in the sand dunes-so no leads required to get on to beach-the house sits on the beach-dog friendly beach and not at all busy even in August.

No restiction on dogs-we take 4, have had pals stay a night with their dogs, so been up to 8 dogs in the house.

Some good walks right from the front door.

Small little village with a couple of eating places/local grocers-close to Hollyhead where there is a Tesco.

I know a week in June can cost around £800-but if ten of you not bad-if 2 of you expensive-however we found it well worth the money as peace of mind for dogs and humans. Only £2 a day for a year to get the money to pay for the house !!
