I have my first judging appointment next Friday- I can't wait. Seems a strange thought- Got my numbers today and a high entry so keep your fingers crossed for me please x

Where are you judging?, I am judging this Friday.

Hi everyone - thanks for all the good wishes I've not been online as gardening in good weather.

It went really well - 3 classes total of 31 dogs came which was lovely- It was a great day and everyone was so supportive. Just got my next show too for October with 5 classes so that's good too.
I have just written my critiques- The show was Eastwood Kennel Association at Newark.

Have my first on 2nd May...Nerves or what !!!!

And looked as if you were enjoying your day,
I judged the Hound Group.

Thanks Teilo Yes a superb entry. Everyone was lovely bringing lots of dogs to support me - I felt very fortunate and very nervous but after the first few dogs I settled in. Hope the Hound group was good x

Hi Merlot yes I bet the nerves are jangling mine were but you will be fine. The lady who went in before me also had her first appointment and she looked very judge like which helped. The first few dogs were a blur then I settled in. Just forget who is there and focus on the dog and you will forget where you are.x

Had a lovely Greyhound in adult group  a nice Group,
The puppy Group was one of the best I have judge
in a long time,
I Saw one of your classes it filled the ring, you must have judged
the largest classes at the show,

They cut the tape and put two rings together which was good- I certainly had to work hard- it was great experience. Glad you had good dogs it makes a difference. I loved it I just need a few more classes then I move up a list!

So please you enjoyed your first appointment it makes such a difference some people have a rough time and feel they did not do a good job and never judge again. So here's to your next appointment and hope you enjoy that as well.
