I have a query regarding the rules & regs on class entries & the wins up to dates

I've always taken it that the rule is to count all wins up to 7 days before the closing date (post mark) however after reading one of our breed club schedules, which has now entered into the world of online entries, their schedule has 7 days before the closing date of the online entry not the postal

Is that correct? After reading a few other all breed champ shows & breed club champ shows schedules that do online entries they all have the 7 days before the postal closing date so is it a rule that the clubs/society make or an actual KC rule?
The way I view it is that is should be the postal date as not all can do entries online so rules & regs on entries should be done around the postal closing date.

As far as I was aware this was a KC rule, and it is the postal entry date that counts.

I'm with Brainless on this one, I am pretty sure it is the Postal date not the online date as these are frequently subject to change.

I only ever use postal entry but I would suspect as others have stated it is 7 days prior to this entry closing date & not online closing date.

I think maybe it's an error in the schedule then, as you all seem to agree that the postal entry closing date is the one to work back from
