hi I need some help i've been looking at the starprint show diary for some open shows that are near me so not far to travel as use public transport as no car, I have found 2 that are at New Haw community centre which only a bus ride (just down the road) they say open (to all breeds) have checked on both websites an results of earlier open shows only tell you there breed(ESS,CS)now i'm not sure if I can enter a SBT.   As I have phoned secretary for a schedule to find it was only only for TOYS on a different show (very embarassed ) so can you tell me can if its that kind of show or has it been changed after diary  was printed

Thanks Nessa

I wasn't aware that there was an All Breeds open show there?
What are the open shows called?

Are you confusing an open show to be open to all breeds?

Thanks for reading

These are breed open shows Nessa. So only if you have that breed can you enter.
Like your Stafford open shows, only that breed allowed.

The Southern English Springer Spaniel Society and the London Cocker Spaniel Society will be  Open shows for the breeds named. :-)

Until the last 2 1/2 years I was without transport.  the only thing to do is pal up with other exhibitors that will be willing to take you to shows in return for sharing the petrol costs.

So ask at Ringcraft if anyone is going to the shows your interested in.  You could ask to put a note on the table/ask the organisers to mention it to people.

If you aim to do championship shows then you are best to try and go with soemoen who also has a terrier breed.

must admit didn't think general open shows were in the starprint diary - would be far too many to show :)

Starprint show diaries have open and champ shows listed in date order, also they have the secretaries numbers for the societies, always best to check the dates as they are not always correct but it gives a good idea as to when shows are on.

I have only just had one (pressie) and do you know had missed the dates in the pink bit - thought they were just the secretary details!!!  DOH!!!  Although aware its worth a double check as you say as printed so far in advance :)

See nesstaffy :) :) now I'm the daft one!
