- By mastifflover Date 12.04.11 13:13 UTC
LOL, yep, have eaten an Easter egg allready!

It was meant for my OH, he was the one who caved in and shared it with me & the kids, so I don't feel too guilty as it was HIS idea :-D
- By STARRYEYES Date 12.04.11 13:15 UTC
yay.. I am not alone.... :) :)
- By mastifflover Date 12.04.11 13:18 UTC

> yay.. I am not alone....

LOL, I've got such a funny mental image of loads of us CDers sat at our computers, getting involved in serious posts - with chocolate egg smeared all round our chops :-D
- By LucyDogs [gb] Date 12.04.11 13:45 UTC
My friend won an egg on the tombola at our club show a month ago and I bought it off her and scoffed it on the way home! And there's been several Creme eggs too....
- By tooolz Date 12.04.11 14:51 UTC
At our local breed club championship show they give small creme eggs for place winners and larger choccy eggs for class winners.

I won 5 and ate 2 creme eggs on the way home, one later that night and ate the bigger of the choccy ones yesterday.

Just one to go....well...... they are mine :-)  all mine :-)
- By Dill [gb] Date 12.04.11 15:15 UTC
Sitting here polishing my halo :-D

No Eggs until Easter :-D
- By LucyDogs [gb] Date 12.04.11 15:36 UTC
I know, I've been to the Southern a few times and I keep wondering why I never went more often when it was a bit more reachable than it is from our new area!!
- By Norman [gb] Date 12.04.11 15:38 UTC
Not yet but it is sat there calling me all the time
- By LindyLou [gb] Date 12.04.11 15:48 UTC
Erm, eaten 3 so far, still one in the cupboard and I'm leaving it (yeh, right ;-) ) Tesco's really shouldn't have the buy one get 2 free offer should they? :-p Daughter has eaten 2 too, so I don't feel so bad :-)
- By colliepam Date 12.04.11 21:48 UTC

- By suejaw Date 12.04.11 21:59 UTC
Don't ever get given easter egg's now :-( apparently i'm too old..

But have eaten a few bags of Mini Eggs... Yummy ;-)
- By STARRYEYES Date 12.04.11 22:06 UTC
I have a big bag full of eggs for some friends children and my own lot non especially for me :(  I keep hinting that I like thorntons continentals rather than an egg!!!

To be honest for a long time I didnt buy eggs I would rather buy a large bars of chocolate as the weight in the egg worked out less than the amount of chocolate you got in a large bar.

Somehow now eggs are really cheap ..probably because we all caught on...so its cheaper to buy an egg.... which really I dont mind doing for the kids just hate the way they are in the shops on boxing day ...LOL

MM mini eggs ..hubby loves 'em!

RE CREAM EGGS

I asked earlier how do you eat yours..

I bite the top off then lick out the middle !!!

Hubby shoves it all in ..in one go!! blah..

am I bored or what...
- By Sassinak [gb] Date 12.04.11 22:20 UTC
You can't just bite them and eat them all at once - where is the fun in that? Actually I don't think I could make myself eat one that way lol
I am another who has to bite the top off  and then lick the middle out, I only eat the rest of the chocolate shell when it is empty :)
- By mastifflover Date 12.04.11 22:24 UTC

> Don't ever get given easter egg's now :-( apparently i'm too old..

What meanies! I always get my dad an easter egg - he'll be 68 this year.

I'll shamefully admit - we've eaten another egg....

Must remeber to get some more eggs tomorrow before the shops are empty of them. Easter eggs are like gold-dust around here the week before Easter - can't move for 'em just after Christmass though!

Nibble the top off and slowly nibble the rest - savour the flavour :)
- By St.Domingo Date 13.04.11 06:55 UTC
Guilty !

But in my defence DD needed the shell of an egg for a school project and that left 3 small bags of Maltesers in the box winking at me . Well , they might go off so i HAD to eat them !!!!
- By Dakkobear [gb] Date 13.04.11 07:14 UTC
Well I would be polishing my halo but my one and only Easter Egg was pilfered and eaten by the dog! grrr! (see the 'what a nose' post for all the horrific detail :-) ) :-(
- By crinklecut [gb] Date 13.04.11 07:45 UTC
I haven't eaten any of the big ones but Asda were doing a buy-two-for-£1 on their small bags of mini eggs. Well it would be rude not to, wouldn't it?
- By JoStockbridge [gb] Date 13.04.11 19:28 UTC Edited 13.04.11 19:30 UTC

- By mountaindreams [gb] Date 13.04.11 20:08 UTC
Have eaten 2 eggs and lots and lots of creme eggs already. Creme eggs are my weakness and I spend all year waiting for them to come back into the shops lol
- By tooolz Date 13.04.11 20:51 UTC
Re: Creme Eggs

Nip off the pointy end and suck out the creme...tongue in ....then eat the choccy.
- By suejaw Date 14.04.11 00:43 UTC

My son tells me creme eggs have been downsized, and they are now small enough to stuff in whole!! Personally I find them too sweet I prefer dark choc.and can overcome any guilt because it is supposed to be a good for you,(in small quantities)
- By Lindsay Date 17.04.11 14:55 UTC
We've eaten a couple of eggs between us - Cadbury's and Nestle middle sized ones (and they were lovely!)
