I missed the original entry date so when I saw the extended date I breathed a sigh of relief. Now the last time I did any dog shows was with my older bitch a few years ago, it was me and her just the two of us so there was no hassle, she has had a couple of BOB and group placings so although I'm not well experienced I have done some showing in the past.
Now I do aim to get my dogs to champions so SKC seemed a good place to start (I live in Scotland). However now I am entering one of my young dogs who will be 18 months old and a pup bitch who will be 7 months.
My problem is it will either be myself or my husband handling depending on weather my hip holds out. The online entry required a name for who is handling the dogs, now with a dislocated hip I'd be useless as going round the ring and I have no idea if and when my hip will 'strike' again so what do I do about the handler?
My concerns why I don't just use my husband.
My husband isn't as experienced at handling as me (usually do obedience and agility), he lets the dogs misbehave a little so they stand awkward and not stacked correctly and when he gaits them he lets them jump up on him. But his good points are that he can jog faster than me so he makes the dogs extend further and when they are not jumping on him they look really good.
Any advice would be great, maybe I just need to train the husband better :o)

Leave the handlers name blank and fill in the rest of the form as required ;-)
The Handler is purely for benching reasons, and it allows a dog owned by Mr. A .. to be benched with Mr F, because Mr F will be handling the dog/s. Usually in a case where Mr F is taking the dogs to the show FOR you, (along with his own) not with you...
Anyone can handle your dog for you..
