Please can you tell me if a dalmation can turn towards it owner as we have had our dalmation for 3yrs and in that time she has been a good family dog until this perticular night when she went for me at meal time and she has never done this before.

Any dog of any breed can sudenly change its behaviour but there if usualy a reason either health or something that was happening at the time like house moving or a family upheavel. It is imposible to help on this board, we can't see the dog or ask you questions which may give a clue to why the change of behaviour. I would suggest that you take the dog to the vet A.S.A.P. and ask for a check up explaining what has happened, it is not normal and needs to be investicated. Ja:)kie
