If it's not one of the Northern Inuit 'types', it could be a Sarloos or a Czechoslovakian Wolf Dog maybe? Although I think they're even crossing these with Northern Inuits and the like these days so who knows?

I'm with everyone else, some sort of NI, ute, tamaskan ... i.e. gsd cross.
Nice looking dog though

I'd say defo a czech wolfdog and they are legal in this country

Well we would have called it a mongrel - but I'm sure that it has a fancy name that means it will attract megabucks! :-)

These wolfdogs ARE FCI recognised so most definitely a step up from a mongrel/utonagan/whatsit. :)
http://www.fci.be/nomenclature.aspx Click on Group 1, then section 1 Sheepdogs then "3. Czekoslovakia (Slovakia)
Ceskoslovenský Vlcak (332) (Czeslovakian Wolfdog)". Clicking on EN there will bring up a Word document with the breed standard.
ok,well the short of the long story is that I have taken her on as the people that bought her couldnt cope with her. They wanted a wolf-like dog but didnt have a clue at what that entailed. She is only a year old and a very loving dog. I take her out for long daily walks and put a harness on her and take her out blading. She is a little but unsure of other dogs when on a lead but thats likely to be something to do with the fact that they didnt take her out. She was purchased as a Registered British Wolfdog (Czech wolfdog x saarloos) but Im not sure whether the paperwork is legit or not. She cost alot of money I know that much but thats probably just because she is wolfy looking! Was curious what you thaught to her breeding.
Good luck with her, she is a beautiful looking dog, too many people get these dogs and just don't know what they are taking on. She's lovely. :-)

She could well be a CSV x Saarloos. Someone I know on another forum has one, same age too - so from the same litter? PM me if you want more details.

Nicole Wilde (American dog behaviourist and trainer) has a lot of experience of working with these type of dogs. Worth googling for info perhaps.

Hmmmm.....Not too sure...?? possibly a Marmalute "Innit" Husky...??

She is beautiful, and well done for taking her on. I meet a few husky types in our village, one guy always puffs his cheeks out and says 'see this dog for pulling??' - I always have a wee chuckle, well that's what they are bred for!
It's like me moaning my spaniel likes sniffing and retrieving!

Looks quite a lot like my friend's Utonagon, she's gorgeous whatever she is!
hi guys :-)
lovely looking dog :-)
i would say she is a saarloos cross inuit :-) i see no csv in there ;-)
