The first thing anyone will say is "go to a vet and get it checked" as it's not possible to diagnose and treat online. However if it's infected a medicated ear wash which is antibacterial and anti fungal may help. Things like Epi-otic are sometimes available from a 'human' pharmacy (like Lloyds) or can be ordered online (thepetpharmacy.co.uk or vetmed etc). An old fashioned wash is half vinegar half water but I prefer the ingredients in the modern ones. Canker powder (called Thornit) always has excellent reviews as it stops mites, bacteria and fungus breeding in the warm moist environment and is used by many as a ear care maintenance product (look on grooming websites such as groomers-online). Keeping it dry and regular cleaning will help but if the problems persist then antibiotics and a vet check may be needed. Hope that helps.
