It was mine and my puppy's first ever show on Sunday and I just wanted to thank everyone at the Otley Open show for being so lovely with us.
We didn't have a clue what we were doing (even forgetting what classes we had entered!).  It was such fun (despite my nerves) and amazing to see such beautiful dogs.
I would especially like to thank the mother and daughter team with their whippets, I didn't get their names but these ladies were especially friendly (even when my puppy in her bounciness barged into their dog minutes before their class!:( - a lesson learnt for me - MUCH shorter lead!).  Whippet ladies, you were lovely, thank you so much, you were the first people I talked to if you hadn't been so nice to me and my pup, I think I would have gone home as I was soooo nervous.

thanks to all.

Glad you had fun - it won't be as scary next time. :-)

You and Sunshine did really well--it's only a few short weeks since she started ringcraft and she looks so much more confident. We've not been to all that many shows either and I can tell you now that this show was the first time we seemed to get through without feeling mortified by some new and crass mistake I've managed to make :). Of course it could just be that the faux pas is getting more subtle and I'm oblivious to it, but no one is letting on yet if that's the case.

Keep up the good work--you'll do just fine!
