Oh good god, if I tried to write ALL the names down I'd be here for hours!
But the main ones of the smaller furries...
Cats - Smoke, Flame & Whisp
Syrian hamsters - Nibbler, Cufacud (cute, fat and cuddly!) and Monty
Degus - Ilya, Danilov, Vasha (Vasiily) and Kolya (Nikolai); Bear, Tiger and Lion; Bandit, Lemur, Toothy, Gizmo, Hazel and Squirt
Chinchillas - Spank and Monkey :-P
Rats - er, lots. Had over 70! The ones that stick out (among many I do remember) were Robin, Badger, Squish and Seren - all uber friendly, licky rats :-)
Mice - er, lots. Had (so far) over 300!! I shall however name Kurt, my favourite mouse of them all who died too young. He was fab :-)
Fish - er, lots LOL! Some have been Porthos, Aramis, Athos and D'artagnon; Claude; George; Charlie & Bertie; Bamf & NC (Nightcrawler); Steve; Dougie (all tropicals and only a handful of what I've had). Then there's the pond goldfish and shubunkins - Bob, Tony, Stan, Lincoln, Rosti, Beardie, Blackbeard, Lily, Basil, Big Red & Big Yellow, and many more.
Rabbits - had 24 in total, main ones I remember were Leafy, Pebbles, Vampira and Fred.
Millipedes - again had loads, my first ones were Charlie and Nick :-)
Birds - about a dozen zebra finches who didn't get names, and 15 japanese quail. 12 of those didn't get names (looked too alike!) but the first three were Colin (a girl :-p), Jackie and Quentin. Oh, and 5 chinese quail, 4 had names but can't remember them and the 5th was Bob.
And then of course there's the dogs - Opie, my first dog, then the dogs I have now - Remy, Opi, Soli, River, Saffi, Paige, Raine, Tia - plus Fletcher who I had for 6 weeks in '06 (Remy didn't like him).
I could dig up all the rats' names - I have a file with all of them. And I have a lot of the mice's names written down too but not all of them - a lot of the ones I have now (last count 156) don't have names. I've never known a lot of mice be so awful for escaping any way they can (despite my doing my best to stop them) so I've had a fair few unplanned litters - so I've given up naming them, especially when the escapees started breeding with the wild mice that are driving me mad and started producing all agouti babies!!
