Thanks for posting this... shows how much nicer dogs can be than people think. I am glad both survived. I thought the crossbred spaniel looks a lot like a Brittany spaniel a friend used own.

That is amazing.. the commentarty says she is guarding.. I think  asking for help.
This has sparked a very interesting debate between the animals lovers and the "only a dog crowd" here at work...
I have family in Japan, (who are all safe and well), but some of my collegues  are how, can you be so bothered by a dog.... The thing is my family are like us if they had dogs the dogs would be a priority, and seeing that made it all the more tragic.. I can't explain too well... but I think you will get my point...

thats what i thought aswell, asking for help for his/her buddy rather than guarding

It definatly shows a side of compassion,bless them
i just dread to think of all the other poor animals out there
