Amidst all the controversy raging around the dog world at the moment I have just one thing left to say.....

Dedicated to all my Ragamuffins past and present who have taught me so much about life and love....... but thanks especially....

To Tess....my tiny funny little girl who survived the vaccine which killed her brother and sister within two days....and made the others seriously ill.  At 8 weeks old you received more drugs than most dogs should ever receive in a lifetime (and even though she remains entire has never come into season) You're my right hand Girl....my little sentinel...... restorer of pack harmony....and you are my "Best Girl" in every way. I cherish you my sweetheart....

To Ned.....my second in a lifetime Dog...whose accomplishments to date include being a Master of giving mid-air kisses....whose agility skills include flying through our fabric tunnel with his ball....and then sitting on the tunnel to stop anyone else from having a go :) In true Mary Rae style you have mastered "go under" walking backwards between my legs....and your smile lights up my life every single day. Long may we continue "The Dance" my Gorgeous Boy......

To Lotts....every time you "look at me" and trust me enough to not leap over the stairgate in the kitchen at the slightest noise....and sit on the windowsill with the cats....my heart swells with pride....and I know my connection with you can only get better in the coming years.....

To my nervous little rescue girl.....watching you run circuits round the field....the wind in your face....the ecstatic look in your eyes when you run back to me and throw yourself into my arms means the world to me. Your freedom to be who you are is now assured....

To Grandma Skye....thankyou for sitting with me during those sleepless nights.....while we awaited the new arrivals....and thankyou for licking the bums of your grandkids when your daughter was tired and unsure...you will always have my deepest respect Girly....and made a much better job of it than I ever could have done :)

My Eternal Thanks also to my wonderful Homeopathic Vet Chris Day.....who reminded me of what I already knew...but had forgotten in my quest to do everything "by the book"....(and by "The Industry"....that I have come to dislike even more intensely....)

My grateful thanks also to Mr Tom Lonsdale whose website and book..... set my gang back on the road to good health.  Good Luck in China Mate...and I am honoured that my Testimonial will accompany "Work Wonders" into China too...translated into Chinese of course :)

And to Perry whose words and love for Spangler sparkled on a pc screen.....through my own tears....late one night as I searched for answers. You led me to find Canine Health Concern and to support Catherine O'Driscoll in her campaign for a change in vaccine legislation. Thankyou x

And finally..to all of those Furry Ones who are suffering in human hands right now......and who have no-one to wait for at Rainbow Bridge......I want to say to you........seek out anyone who ever joined a campaign and sent an email....anyone who cared enough to protest....anyone who wished on a star every night....or sent out a silent prayer.....for things to be better for you. Seek out anyone who at some point might have opened a window to free a Bumble-bee......or placed a baby bird high in the branches to make a second quest for the freedom of the sky.......

For these are the people who have their beloved Furry Friends waiting at Rainbow Bridge for them....and I promise you they have room in their hearts to welcome you out of the shadows......and may very well be the people and Furry Friends who you will have a "soul contract" with....next time around.

And of course not forgetting my 17 year old moggy....my little tiny slip of a thing.......a stranger to the vet.....and who remains an inspiration to me...and best friend to Tess. Long may the light in your eyes continue to shine across our Household.....

I often hear it said that the "perfect dog" doesn't exist but in some respects I would have to disagree. There are hundreds of dogs....in hundreds of households across the land.....who may not be exactly to breed standard.... but never-the-less absolutely perfect in every way.....to the people who love them :)
