Can anyone recommend the best gromming tools for a Labrador please - he has just started shedding really.

When I had a labrador I used to use an ordinary metal comb like this followed by a bristle brush like this.

Great thank you - I have both of types in my gromming box - we also have persian cats and used to have a horse so have many tools!

If you still have it, try a rubber curry :-D

I use a ferminator on my three who normally have two moults a year. It s very good at getting the dead under coat out , much better and easier than a normal brush/comb I have ever used :-)
