I think this may have happened to me.  Does anybody know a good company or how to go about looking into this?  Been phoned tonight but they wanted £240 of which I don't have and always wary about companies who phone wanting money!

perrodeagua, you can do this yourself if you have the time to write a letter. I had to chase this up myself and eventually won back over £6,000 because I was missold unemployment cover--to top it off the bank could not find the original records, so the whole amount was refunded which paid off the balance of the loan and put almost £3,000 back in my account. jay15 is right, i have handled this myself also, with the help from the financial ombudsman, still on going but hopefully it will be resolved soon.
