hi, i own a 2 yr old female akita, she weighs 37kg. im very interested in feeding raw and i can get prize choice in my local p@h. however im a little confused as to how much id need to feed her daily in grams? also do i need to mix anything with the minces or are they complete? any advice would be greatly apreciated. raw food seems very hard to source here in northern ireland.

I also live in Northern Ireland and feed a combination of raw and Fish4 dogs. I buy my raw from Natural instinct as they do a complete range which is convient for me. It is expensive as delivery is £20 but I always buy a large order to justify spending that amount on postage. You can also try Drumbo Park on a friday evening there are raw dealers who supply the greyhound guys but its basic minces such as tripe, beef and chicken and can be in abit hit and miss with the quality. We also use Tescos or Asda value range for Chicken wings etc too.
