Apparently it was a one day offer and only whilst stocks last, they probably only had a few bags to start off with,I expect another ploy to get us to visit their site.

Just seen this.
Its not on all the dried food at Pets at Home?   I buy the breed specific for my Goldie - can seem to see its on offer there but Pet Planet are selling 40 Kg for £40.99 - free delivery over £29
- By newf3 [gb] Date 11.04.11 19:30 UTC
they dont ever do it on the giant breed, its always buy one and get one half price but as they are chargeing nearly 51 quid a bag, its cheaper to order from zoo plus. 75.99 for two 15 kg bags with free deliverly.

If you feed RC often your best joining there breeders club, its worth paying the money for your kennel name a year with the savings you make! I can get 36kg for £70 (ish)  think that works out at about 29 quid for 15kg.

well worth it.

i only have dogs, no bitches so i cant join there breeders club.

How many dogs do you own? You don't have to own bitches to join just four or more dogs in total. Below is copied from RC website:

To join our Breeder Club as a dog breeder, all we ask is that you:

Are based in the UK or Ireland

Own two or more breeding bitches or four or more dogs in total

Have your own registered Kennel Club Affix or are a KC/IKC accredited breeder

Agree to give puppy recommendation packs to all new owners and return details to us

Place a minimum order of 20kg every four months

I have been a breeder member of RC for years.  Haven't ordered since my last 2 sacks of RC mini junior a year ago, and was charged over £83 for it.  If anyone can genuinely find me the mini at £29 instead of my discounted price of £42, I would love to know about it.

I am apart of the royal canin breeders club. 20kg for £42 (ish) for medium breed. I believe you can only get 15kg bags from shops.

I have 3 Cavaliers and feed them Royal Canin. It was my vet who recommended changing from another well known make to this & I'm glad I did because my girls love it. I found the cheapest place is online through petmeds they delivery really quickly and are always sending me money off vouchers which is an added bonus. It's alot cheaper than buying in a pet store or from my vet.
