my girl was in season the beginning of december , i mated her but she missed, now just 11 weeks later she's come back in season alongside her mum and her halfsister , she's perfectly fine in herself but just wondering if to pop her to the vets just wondered if this as happened to anyone else,

Not quite the same, but my dogs always seem to bring each other in season. I believe its quite normal

Hopefully someone a bit more knowledgeable will be able to offer better advice.

It sounds to me as if she didn't ovulate last season, so when her relatives came in this time so did she. She might not be producing enough hormones and I would want to discuss it with my vet, or preferrably, a specialist vet, just to make sure. Especially if you wish to mate her. I only mention this because my bitch had weird seasons and though she got pregnant she didn't carry to term. Just giving you my experience, not saying that this is what is going on with your bitch.

From my own experience of owning multiple bitches, I find this perfectly normal.

You put a dozen women on a desert island, and leave them long enough, they will all start to menstruate at the same time.  My bitches regularly bring each other in.

There are times when a bitch starts another one off, but she doesn't go the full 3 weeks, I have never had any infertility issues due to this.
